VISIONSOUND develops employee communications e-Learning and marketing videos for a variety of clients, including Verizon, Toyota, UCLA, Random House, Johnny Rockets, CalOptima, TruGreen LandCare, and Southern California Edison.
VISIONSOUND was founded by Chase Roberts in Anaheim, California. He and his award-winning team began creating computer-based safety training courses and videos in 1993 when the term “interactive” was the stuff of science fiction. Macromedia Director and Authorware were the de facto industry standards at the time. Non-linear editing was brand new and most people knew nothing about it. It was an exciting time; the sky was the limit with what we could do with these creative learning tools.
After graduating from UCLA and producing for several corporate training and communication production companies, Chase looked for something new, something that combined the worlds of the internet and video to communicate in a more effective way. Chase, along with two colleagues, opened VISIONOUND when they won their first project with Educational Insights (EI), an internationally known education toy company. It was the start of many other projects for EI, which led to other accounts with major firms, including AirTouch Cellular (now known as Verizon Wireless). Then came FleetwoodRV with an extensive series of interactive sales training courses. Other welcome clients came on board and helped us grow, including Southern California Edison. This major public utility called on VISIONSOUND to grow their safety and employee communications media department. It was another chance to prove our mettle by meeting high expectations for providing top quality safety and technical scriptwriting and media production services.
Non-profits include the American Diabetes Association and Pediatric Adolescent Diabetes Research Education (PADRE).
